How does a digital stamp card work in a cafe?
Each customer gets a stamp card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Your staff scan it at the till, a stamp lands on the card, and the reward unlocks on its own when the card is full.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR on your counter and add the card to the Wallet app already on their phone. It takes about six seconds.
What about customers without Apple Wallet?
Android phones use Google Wallet, iPhones use Apple Wallet. If a phone has neither, the card still works as a web card from its own link.
Do I need a scanner or a tablet?
No. Any phone, tablet or laptop with a camera scans cards in the browser. Most cafes use the phone already at the counter.
Can staff give extra stamps by mistake?
Every scan is recorded once, even if it is tapped twice or the connection drops. You see each stamp and reward in your dashboard.
